Certified Fence Contractor School
The American Fence Association (AFA) offers a five-day course to prepare eligible individuals for the Certified Fence Contractor (CFC) certification exam. The CFC program will provide in-depth instruction on business management issues of importance to all fence contractors. Students will be presumed (and tested) to know fence installation and field safety as a prerequisite to taking the course. The Certified Fence Contractor School will cover:
- Sales, Advertising and Marketing
- Estimating and Bidding
- Insurance and Legal Issues
- Safety Management and OSHA Compliance
- UL 325 and ASTM F2200
Who Should Attend the CFC School?
This school is for fence professionals with fewer than 10 years’ experience in the industry or individuals who want formal training in preparation for business management and ownership in the future.
